manual gearbox

Hi Arnold Friends,

my Arnie has a manual gearbox,
its a ZF box or more commonly known as a dog leg box, 1st gear is back,
i am experiencing difficulty trying to select 2nd gear,
could this just be my clutch wearing out?
or maybe a whorn out rubber bush in the top part of the gearbox?
any helpful comments are most welcome

Hi Gareth,

I think first you should check the rubber bushings of the shift linkage.

Hi Thomas, thanks for your ideas
i have also had talks with Spezial-Arnold-Freund and hes sent me some images of the gearbox and where the bushes are located
so i will be on to my merc dealership to order parts
